We are, therefore, committed to integrating environmental management into our entire range of business activities.
Bottles
AQC Group bottles are made from Polyethylene High-Density (PE-HD) which is 100% fully recyclable. When this is recycled it may become non-food containers, including laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner bottles, motor oil bottles, toys, rope, plastic lumber, pipe, buckets, crates, flower pots, film, recycling bins, floor tiles.
Product Boxes
The Packaging Regulations 1998 - This relates to the raw materials used to produce our boxes all comply with the 2001 requirements. The named metals are well below the required limits. This includes paper, inks and the adhesives used to produce the boxes and are sourced from responsible organisations to ensure that they will not compromise the final product.AQC Group Cartons and Boxes used are made up of 90% recycled papers and 10% of virgin material, which in turn is 100% recyclable.
Testing Paper
Reuse Recycle Reduce As you would expect from a Toner Manufacturing Company, AQC Group generates a large quantity of testing paper. Our test paper is purchased from a company certificated with Sustainable Forestry Management (SFM) & Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) plus many other environmetal standards including ISO 14001. We reuse testing paper in our office printers by duplexing, but of course this only accounts for a small proportion. All our testing paper is collected by a local recycling company for Pulping and Paper Making and is all 100% recycled.
Metals
We store our metal waste and is collected monthly for recycling
Carboard and plastics
Recycling of Paper & Cardboard has a huge advantage for the environment; the process produces almost 75% less air pollution than that required to make paper and cardboard from raw materials. We compact up all our waste cardboard and also plastics (pallet wraps, barrel liners etc...) this is collected by a local recycling company SWR, they provide specialist waste services for business space waste and industrial wastes.
